After pick up from Sanliurfa Airport or hotel in Urfa you will meet your guide and start to explore fascinating ancient sites.

Gobekli Tepe - one of the world's most important archaeological sites. Dating back as far as 12,000 years ago, it was built prior records of writing or pottery, and is believed to be the world's oldest ritual complex. Don't miss the opportunity to visit this fascinating site which is causing archaeologists to rethink their vision of early human history.

Visit to Sanliurfa Archaeological Museum with its unmissable collection of archaeological artefacts stretching from the Neolithic to the times of Crusader Edessa, including many artefacts from Gobekli Tepe, such as ‘Urfa Man’, regarded as the world’s oldest statue.

Museum houses a replica of the Enclosure D of Gobekli Tepe, and the cult site, referred to as Nevali Cori, which was submerged by the Ataturk Dam and moved into this museum with its original stones.

Haleplibahce Mosaic Museum is reconstructed in-situ on the Ancient Roman Villa with beautiful mosaics found on the ground dating back to 3rd and 4th centuries AD. The museum is also famous for the Mosaic Orpheus, illegally taken abroad and returned to Sanliurfa, its home, in 2015. Many of the mosaics uncovered around Sanliurfa are also exhibited in this museum.

The newly excavated tombs of the Kizilkoyun Necropolis dated between 2nd and 4th century AD. Over 61 excavated tombs were formed by carving into the bedrock limestone.

You will visit Abraham’s cave, the birthplace of the prophet Abraham, and the Pool of Prophet Abraham which is believed to be the place where Prophet Abraham was thrown into the fire by Nimrod.
 

Lively bazaar of Urfa is surely not to be missed; you will find stalls selling everything from sheepskins to jeans and colorful local scarves. You can also see some ancient workshops and craftsmen you cannot see in another places.

There will be free time for lunch and your guide will suggest best places to try some local foods.

After you will be transferred to Sanliurfa Airport for your flight or to hotel in Urfa.
